These grass shears have been designed for ease of use and comfort during extensive trimming periods. For maximum efficiency, keep blades sharp. The shears are somewhat self sharpening, so just a light sharpening with a whetstone or a smooth file will keep them in working condition. Never try to sharpen the inside edge, as this will dull the baldes and ruin the shears.
