Expert Quality, special steel hardened and tempered with cutting edges separately induction hardened. Ergonomic shape of head and handles allow user to access difficult working areas and still keep a tight grip on the workpiece. The pliers have following functions: flat cutter on the tip of the head for use on cable ties; wire stripper 1.5 and 2.5mm² wire; diagonal cutter for medium hard wire (3.5mm) , hard wire (2.5mm) and piano wire (2mm); crimper for terminals 1.5 and 2.5mm²; pattress screw cutter for M4 and M3,5 screws and wire looping device on underside of pliers for looping wire for plug screws/terminals. The Revolutionary Ergo Plus™ VDE Plier 26482 DEP1 from Draper. These pliers are a truly multifunction tool designed to be the ideal tool to carry out six different functions. The first function is the wire stripping, the Ergo Plus plier has 1.5mm and 2.5mm grooves. Integrated into the head is a Patteress Screw cutter for sized N3.5 and M4. There is a large 14mm wire cutting face that is capable of cutting piano wire up to 2mm thick. There is a terminal crimping jaw that neatly crimps 1.5mm and 2.5mm terminals. At the base of the head is a wire loop former for producing 4, 5, 6mm loops. At the tip of the head is a flush cutter to give a perfect flush cut on plastic and copper. The handle has a slimline soft grip ergonomic design with slip guards for added safety. The slimline design extends to the cutting head that give improved visibility of the work area. The head has also been angled to provide a natural extension to the hand improving comfort and control. The Ergo Plus Plier is also safe, manufactured in Germany to DIN standards each plier is certified to EN 60900:2004.
