Diesel Kerosene Space heaters are potentially dangerous equipment, which if not used correctly can cause serious injury to the user. The user bears sole responsibility for any damage or injury that may result from the use of the heater for any purpose other than it was intended. Space heaters should not be operated by persons under 16 years of age, or persons whose stature and strength will prevent the safe operation of the heater.

Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension lead suitable for outdoor use.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) recommends the use of an RCD to reduce the risk of fatal shock. For electrical safety it is recommended to always fit an RCD when you use power tools. You can have an RCD fitted to protect a particular circuit as part of the socket outlet between the socket outlet and the equipment being used. For greater safety when using electrical equipment use a residual current device (RCD). Care in use is still necessary.

Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this equipment. Do not use when you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating the Space Heater may result in serious personal injury.

Space Warmer Parafin / Diesel / Kerosene Heaters

Sealey’s range of paraffin/diesel/kerosene heaters represent excellent value. Workshop tried and tested. The range includes two economy portable models, the AB458 and AB708 which are both supplied without wheels. All models except AB458 have an adjustable thermostat (˚C) that controls unit as desired temperature is reached. Model NO. AB1008 and above are fitted with digital room temperature (˚C) display, spare parts storage compartment and heavy-duty pneumatic wheels. All models are fitted with fuel tank gauge and heavy-duty filler cap. Heavy-duty pneumatic wheels offer easy manoeuvrability across smooth and rough terrain. Adjustable thermostat ensures work area can be kept at a constant and comfortable temperature. Fuel pressure gauge allows easy checking that working pressure is at the correct level and helps any adjustment to be accurate. Error code read-out allows fast identification of any errors, which can be translated on the units information plate. Fuel tank gauge helps keep an eye on the fuel level easily without having to remove the fuel cap. Heavy-duty fuel cap held on by a metal chain which can help prevent accidental loss.
